If you are like me you may feel like you are spending every waking minute with your mini me. But if I am being honest, much of that time is spent doing adult things like running errands and going to the grocery store. While those things are important, spending quality time with your daughter in different ways is just as important. Mom and daughter dates are a great way to bond and feel closer to her. Taking your little girl on mom and daughter dates is the perfect way to do that. No matter what age your little girl is, from toddler to teenager, these date ideas can be a lot of fun.

Take a Cooking Class Together

A cooking or baking class can be such a fun mom and daughter date. If you search around the internet, you will likely find all sorts of mom and daughter classes together. These classes seem to be popular around specific holidays. Find local bakers and chefs in your area and inquire if they offer parent/child classes. They may not provide them now, but your inquiry might encourage them to offer a class in the future. Taking a cooking class together allows you both to learn something new. You will be sure to make some lasting memories with your girl.

Popcorn and a Movie

Going to the movies isn’t exactly a revolutionary idea but it is still a fun and super easy mom and daughter date. Some ways to put a refreshing spin on an old idea is to F=find a fun movie theatre. Take a short drive to one you haven’t been to before. You might even try a drive-in movie theatre if one exist in your area. Another idea is a super bougie movie theatre. Get fancied up for your outing. Even though you are just sitting in the theatre it can be really fun experience for you both to have together.

Paint Pottery

These are also becoming really popular as many pottery shops are opening up. You can usually select what you want to paint, then get as creative as you want. If you have a super creative or artistic daughter, she will especially enjoy this activity with you. Let her pick her own items, such as a plate, bowl, or cup. She might want to decorate a container that can hold her pens and pencils in her bedroom, or a picture frame to put in a picture of her dog or her friends.

Spa Day

When you want to splurge a little bit, a spa day is perfect. This is going to cost a bit more, but you can cut costs by simply going for manicures and pedicures, or just getting a facial together. If it is a special occasion such as her birthday, maybe you can make a day out of it by going for your facial or massage, taking her to lunch, then on a quick shopping trip. This can be a lot of fun for both of you and is a wonderful bonding experience.
